Steamed Chicken with Black Fungus & Dang Gui

The Forge

Ingredients A:-

  • Kampung Chicken 400gm (Chopped)
  • Ginger Juice ½ tbsp
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Corn Flour 1 tsp
  • Pepper some
  • Sesame Oil 1 tsp
  • Water 1 tbsp

 

Ingredients B:-

  • 5 Red Dates (Pitted)
  • 3 Slices Dang Gui
  • 5 Slices Ginger
  • 10 Slices Carrot
  • 12 Mushrooms
  • Black Fungus 5 gm
  • ½ tbsp Light Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil
  • ½ tbsp Thick Soy Sauce
  • Chicken Stock 200ml
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Sugar

 

Ingredients C:-

  • Spring Onion 1 stalk (segmented)
  • 2 tbsp Shao Xing Wine

 

Method :

  1. Put all Ingredients A together in bowl, mix well and set aside wait for 40 minutes.
  2. After 40 minutes, place all Ingredients B and marinated chicken together into inner pot, mix well.
  3. Select “Steamed” and 20 minutes, press “Start / Cancel”.
  4. After done cook, open inner pot. (Caution:Hot!)
  5. Put Ingredients C into Inner Pot and mix all again.
  6. Serve to plate and enjoy.
